Torch Song - Ecstasy

TORCH SONG
Ecstasy
1986 Y II Records

Notes :
Torch Song was a British synthpop and dance band of the early 1980's consisting of William Orbit, Laurie Mayer and Grant Gilbert. In 1985, Grant left to pursue other projects and long-time friend Rico Conning officially joined the group. After the release of ''Exhibit A'' in 1987, Torch Song as a group was put on the back-burner while William concentrated on solo work and remixes. He continued to write with both Laurie and Rico and in 1995 they released ''Toward the Unknown Region''.
''Ecstasy'' was their second album, two tracks were released as singles: ''White Night'' and ''Can't Find My Way Home''. Other tracks are also great, my favourite ''Mothdoom Ecstasy''.
Amazing album, long forgotten gem from 80's period.

Deja Vu - Come Follow Me EP

Notes :
Early 90's UK indie dance band formed by Barry Ashworth & Blaine Scanlon. Inspired by bands like The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays and Primal Scream, they formed their own band Deja Vu and this is their debut, madchester influenced single ''Come Follow Me''.
After this one, they signed to Cowboy Records and released few progressive house singles and one album ''Gangsters, Tarts & Wannabees'' in 1995.

Great single, vinyl rip, WAV files.
