After Big Audio Dynamite II, Mick Jones shortened the name to Big Audio. Only one album was released, 'Higher Power' in 1994. The lineup included all former Big Audio Dynamite II-members (Mick Jones on guitar and vocals, Nick Hawkins on guitar, Gary Stonadge on bass and Chris Kavanagh (also ex-Sigue Sigue Sputnik) on drums), completed with keyboard player Andre Shapps and DJ Michael Custance, also known as DJ Zonka. In 1995 Mick Jones decided to use the original name, Big Audio Dynamite again.

Band formed in 1992, initially a collaboration between Vanessa Quinones and Chris Taplin (ex-Frazier Chorus), it evolved into a solo vehicle for Quinones in collaboration with others.
Espiritu signed to Heavenly in 1992 and released two albums and number of singles.
Bonita Manana was their fourth single, including remixes by Sabres Of Paradise, Johnny Vicious and Gang Starr.
